Hi,

a couple of days I got a reminder from Photobucket that I'd not used it for 90 days.
(The only time I ever used Photobucket was to post the pictures of my Elan to this forum)
I did all that was requested of me but I'm not certain if my membership remains valid.
However, that is not really where I'm going.
On another forum that I frequent it's very easy to add attachments directly to posts including photos provided they are correctly sized.
Would it be possible to add such a facility to this forum?
For an example of what I mean take a look at LotusElan.net

Cheers

Photobuckets free account allows for 500mb of storage, and yes will warn you if you have been inactive from your account for a long time. I'm not sure that this means they will delete it as you could just log in to keep it active. One thing is for sure ... you don't have to pay for the standard free account, just the pro accounts.

As for this forum allowing users to attatch photos directly to a post, yes it can be done and I will look into it again. The only problem with this is that eventually it will fill up and either cost more money for storage or we will have to delete some images. I will though look at it as an option to users who don't want to use external resources such as photobucket and photobox.
